RULES
Here are the rules for Forest Stories. It explains what you can and cannot do. If you want to remain a cheerful member of this message board, (and not have moderators yelling at you every five seconds) you must follow them.
Forest Stories is a spin off of the Warriors Books written by Erin Hunter. It's a place for people to talk about the Warriors books, and play as a character. This is what members can do:
1. Talk about Warriors
2. Talk about appropriate things in the correct boards. Ex. The Games Board.
3. Send private messages to each other.
4. Make a cat to play as.
5. Play as the cat, and have kits, become a mentor, and develop your character.
What You Can't Do
Warrior Cats the RPG has limits on certain things, which most other forums have as well.
SPAM
SPAM are stupid and pointless messages. An example of SPAM would be replying "Hi I’m new" to someone's message, when everyone was talking about Peepers. That's a reply, that has absolutely nothing to do with the topic and will not be tolerated. A SPAM message takes up space, wastes bandwidth, and messes up a good thread.
Also considered SPAMing would be posting a reply or topic and then replying to it before anyone else does{Double Posting}. If you need to add more to your message, simply edit it.
If you do post SPAM, you will be notified either by a reply to your message or through Private Messaging on the forum. Depending on how much you SPAM, you will be warned several times, given a warning meter, and finally you'll be permanently banned.
Signatures
Sig pictures may not stretch the boards widthwise. No picture you place in your signature may exceed 630 pixels horizontally {wide}. If you do so anyway it will be edited out and treated like any other rule break.
Advertising
The only place you may advertise another website is in the Advertisements Board or your signature. You can, however, post links to official websites, such as www.warriorcats.com or Nintendo.com.
Nagging Staff
Players may not nag staff members to check their new bios. This is harassment and unacceptable. The only time you may PM staff about your bio is if it has been there more than 48 hours without a response, and appears to have been lost or ignored. We never ignore bios on purpose.
If you nag staff about brand new bios anyway, it will be dealt with according to our 3-strikes rule policy: warning, severe warning, then temp or permanent ban {depending on the severity of the offence}.
Legitimate questions about what's allowed in a character may be posted on our Rules board.
Watch Your Language
Please refrain from using swear words or obscene pictures. This message board is rated PG.
Plagiarism:
For any of you who don't know what this word means, plagiarism is stealing somebody else's writing{or art}, either whole or in part, and claiming it as your own creation. Prose or poetry, bios or posts, from this site or another site, it doesn't matter. It is lying, theft and violation. And it is against the law. If you are discovered to have plagiarised something during your time here{this includes lifting others' material from this RPG to use outside this game} you will be permanently banned. There will be no second chances. This is your only warning. DON'T PLAGIARISE. *cough cough*Bailey*cough cough*
Moderators
Moderators are my helpers in managing this forum, and can delete, lock, move posts and even ban people who don't abide by the rules. A threat against a moderator will result in an immediate BAN.
Never PM any of us to ask to become a mod.
Roleplaying rules
-No autoing (Controlling another person's character--including autoing damage on them)
-No flaming (Fighting in OOC))
-NO Godmoding: Making your character invincible or otherwise "above reality." In any instance of: having your character do extremely dangerous things, i.e. attack/provoke a strong predator {fox, badger, dog, anything at least that size} or large group of cats - staff reserve the right to seriously injure or kill your character, via the opposition. Before any damage is given to your character, you will be given one warning {chance} to get him/her out of danger.
If your character is part of a party, they can sometimes overcome smaller predators such as foxes, but again, if staff feel that you are godmoding, you'll be warned, then penalized if you continue. Use common sense.
Names:
1. Names can be as odd, but not disturbing, as you want them to be. Inappropriate names include:
- Vulgar/racist words in it
- Clan names cannot start with "Kit", "Paw", or "Star"
Duplicate Names:
Your character may only have a name identical to another character's name if they are not in the same clan. No name may be used more than twice at once in the whole game.

Gatherings

Characters
-You can have as many characters as you can handle
-They cannot have special powers...unless stated by an Admin
-They cannot be the "One who can save us all", without talking to staff.
-You cannot be in more than one place at once
-When you create a clan-born cat, we will RP as if that cat has been in the Clan the entire time.
-If you RP as a loner, let's just say that the Clans don't take kindly to loners...
-Do not make a queen that is already pregnant.
-If your queen becomes pregnant, there has to actually be a father.
-NO character may be related to or otherwise connected to any character from the books. This game takes place LONG after the canon series and any characters from them have been forgotten.
Territories

-May or may not change their name
Medicine Cats
-May leave the camp whenever
-Has dreams from StarClan
-Has many herbs to help with the sick and injured.
Deputy
-Deputies live in the Warrior's Den, until they become an Elder
-May leave the camp whenever, but is best if the leader knows about it
-Keep warrior name
Leader
-Will live in the Leader's Den, until they pass on to StarClan
